i don't understand why some people would want to take young children to Goa. whilst we were there, someone had taken a 3 week old baby.
most people took toddlers, but the majority were aged around 7 - 12 years old.
the temperature didn't dip below 38deg, there is no breeze to cool the air and most of these children were bored stiff (and extremely hot).
the parents couldn't do any sightseeing because it was far too hot for the children, all they could do was stay round the pool or go on the beach.
if this is the case, why bother with a beautiful country full of temples, churches and culture.
surely the best place for these families is Spain, Majorca or the such.
some people are suspicious of the MMR vaccine, yet others take their children where alsorts of jabs are needed (also malaria tablets to be taken). All it needs is fir Haven Holidays or Butlins to go out, and the family will be complete.
